Jambalaya

Jambalaya

The main ingredients that I used to make this low carb jambalaya were: 
  • 1 pound of mussels
  • 1/2 pound shrimp
  • 1/2 pound scallops
  • 1/2 pound crawfish
  • 4 oz sliced smoked sausage
  • 1/2 lime sliced thin
  • 1 sweet red pepper diced
  • two dashes of cooking wine
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • Spices: Cajun, cayenne pepper, black pepper, red curry paste, basil, chili powder

I sauteed the red pepper with the sausage before adding them to the pot to cook with the rest of the ingredients. After adding the sausage and peppers, I let the whole thing simmer for about 30 minutes and it was ready to serve!
